Valkyrie Mk I (L) bp (L)

Postby EbonyKnight » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:16 am

Hi All

There is a Valkyrie Mk I (L) bp (L) with 12 attempts on auction. Open ended and finishes on 2010-07-01 11:40+ MA time.

There has been talk of people pooling their ped to buy this bp.

1st question - who is interested.
2nd question - what is the max bidding price.
3rd question - how much is buy in.
4th question - who is going to be on at that time.

I would recommend that should we be successful, the first 1 or 2 vehicles made are sold to recoup the cost of the bp. That way, we can use that ped again to buy the next affordable car bp. Also, depending on how many are interested in getting a car, and how many successes there are in crafting, not everyone is going to get a car.

Most likely, I will make a deposit to cover the total cost of buying the bp; but would like to see someone else collect the ped just in case something happens and I'm unable to be on at that time.

As for the other parts needed to make the car, they will be bought on auction where soc members don't have the bp.

Any globals or new bp drops will be divided amongst those who buy in.

1. I'm interested

2. No idea what this will go for. Ped per click is about 10ped. tt is 17ped so add in res. 12 clicks and say we get 4 successes? Each one is going for about 2200% So say 375ped each.
fees = 16 on that MU = 64 on 4 sales
ignoring crafting, mats cost on auction is about 10ped = 12*10+17*4= 188ped
So possible profit = 4*375 - 64 - 188 = 1248ped less bp cost so there's a crude guide price limit.
Very nice and I expect a lot of people will bid for it.

3. Buy in depends on how many people respond quickly enough. We need a fund of 188 + 64 + bp price split between investors. If we say our upper limit is bp price of 1k then we need a fund of 1250ped. 250 each?

4. I can be on at that time as long as the auction doesn't last for longer than 2 hours.

There are 2 more Valkyrie (L) bp (L) - one with 15 attempts, other 33 attempts.

QR 15 - has buyout of 1600 ped. making each attempt 106.67 ped each
QR 33 - has buyout of 3999 ped. making each attempt 121.18 ped each

I would recommend that the QR 12 bp that we are looking at buying is no more than 1280 ped.

Haven't logged in to check what the bidding is up to yet.

I am in.

I have 200 ped i can put towards the cause.

Wouldn't go much higher than 1000 ped or so on 12 clicks.

Don't mind not getting a vehicle if it came down to it.

Groan

I'm sure I replied to this 6 hours ago.

Auction was over. Fierce bidding in the last minutes. Determination on my part and 950 ped won the day.

Thanks to Alan buying the last of the materials, I was able to have enough materials for the 12 attempts.

Result - 5 successes out of 12.

So, how do we determine who gets one of the 5 cars? Car will cost 200 ped (covers buying the bp and materials)

First choice goes to Alexa, Will and myself. Why? because these people responded to the post.

4th and 5th choice goes to alan and Rappa as they expressed an interest in-game.

Expression of Interest in the next vehicle bp that becomes available. (or mounted weapon or repair kit bp)

The way this works, those interested in chipping in ped to cover the cost of buying the bp will get first choice in buying the said item.

Depending on the number of successes will determine whether some of the successes can be sold to cover the cost of the bp or not. If there aren't enough successes, then the markup on the made items will cover the cost of bp and materials to make the successes.

If there are any other bp's that people would be interested in but not due to the high markup; please mention these as well.

Another Valkyrie Mk I (L) bp (L) has hit auction.

90 attempts - buyout 5400 ped

Who's interested in chipping in.

I'm willing to deposit/pledge 1000 ped for purchase.

(with buyout this bp might be on for a limited time, quick gathering of ped to buy is essential)

If we are successful in getting the bp, another post will be forthcoming in working out getting enough materials and residue to do the 90 attempts in 1 crafting run.

I'll chip in 1000ped, even 1500 if we are 500 short.
If several bp-s becomes available I'd favor the one with lower klicks, just thinking there might be a risk of saturating the market.

Thanks for reply, Nero.

90 clicks looking at 30-45 successes.

Those that want a car or back up car, in soc will have preference, then it's sell 2-3 cars per week.

Sigh, missed out, all ready sold

There's a bp with 34 attempts - starting bid is 2379 ped (69.97 ped per attempt); finishes in 2010-07-07 20.48.xx; I wouldn't go any higher than starting bid.
